Reflection relation

Definition

A reflection relation for a holomorphic function or a meromorphic function is an equation relating the value of that function at $z$ and $a-z$, for particular choices of $a$.

Examples

• Reflection relation for gamma function: Gives an expression for the product of $\mathrm{\Gamma }(z)$ and $\mathrm{\Gamma }(1-z)$
