Statement

Suppose UC is an open subset and fα:UC is a family of holomorphic functions such that the fα form a normal family: for every compact subset KU, the restrictions of fα to K are uniformly bounded on K. Then, there exists a subsequence of the fαs, say fn, such that fn converge to a holomorphic function, and the convergence is uniform on compact subsets.
